Terms of Service

By creating an account or using SamayIQ, your center agrees to these terms.

Accounts

One account belongs to one center. The person who creates it is the account owner and can invite staff accounts with the permissions that center chooses. Your center is responsible for keeping sign-in credentials confidential and for what the accounts at your center do in SamayIQ. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.

You must be able to enter into a contract on behalf of your center to create an account.

Subscription plans and billing

Earlier promotions

A launch promotion was available to centers that signed up before October 1, 2026. It is closed to new signups. Centers that signed up while it was available keep the terms they were offered: 30 days free with no payment required during the free period, then 50% off the standard subscription price for the next 12 months on monthly or annual billing, with standard pricing afterward. It applies to one center account, is not transferable, and cannot be combined with another offer.

Cancellation and refunds

Your center can cancel at any time, without calling or emailing us, from the Billing page in SamayIQ — it opens Stripe's billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and your center keeps access until then. We do not provide partial refunds for an unused part of a period unless we are required to.

Canceling stops billing; it does not by itself delete your center's data. See our Privacy Policy for how to request deletion.

Your center's data and your responsibilities

Acceptable use

Please don't:

We may suspend or end access to an account that violates these rules, or that we reasonably believe is putting other centers' data at risk. Where it is practical to do so, we will tell you first.

Not affiliated with Kumon

SamayIQ is independent software built for Kumon center workflows and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Kumon Institute of Education. Your center remains responsible for following any rules or agreements it has with its own franchisor or governing organization, including rules about what software it may use and what information it may put into it.

Changes to the service

SamayIQ is actively developed: features get added, improved, and occasionally retired. We try not to remove something a center depends on, and where a change is significant we will tell the account owner. We may also need to take the service offline briefly for maintenance.

No warranty

SamayIQ is provided as it is. We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will fit every way a particular center wants to work. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties beyond what these terms say, and your center should keep its own copies of records that matter to it.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — lost revenue, lost students, or lost data — arising from your center's use of SamayIQ. Our total liability for any claim relating to SamayIQ is limited to the amount your center paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the effective date above, and we will email the account owner if the change is significant. Continuing to use SamayIQ after a change means your center accepts the updated terms. If your center does not accept them, it can cancel as described above.
